Maren Häußermann was born in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1991. She has lived in Berlin and Passau and for a total of seven years, in Vienna, Austria. From 2019 to 2021, she worked as a freelance correspondent and TV producer in Spain. She then spent three years working as a non-partisan press officer at the European Parliament.
